This project explored how 5 splines could be formed and placed to create continuity, tension, and movement in a square. This final composition combines the different curve behaviors to guide you through the square, while also maintaining a sense of balance
I started my iterations by free forming lines and trying to get an idea of what direction I wanted to go in. After a few different iterations, I decided I wanted to have my lines start around the same area of the square and branch out as they reached the other side. I made this decision because I felt it would best utilize the space and also keep the compostion looking like it was in motion.
