This study explored how lines and weight can divide a square while creating a balance between positive and negative space.
I began experimenting with different intervals, proportions, and placements of a line to see how small changes could make a big difference when trying to make something visually interesting.
Through help and advice from classmates and professors, I was able to settle on a composition that I felt held visual interest, while also not being too symetrical and predictable.
